Observations for Use - Viticulture

The use of Lithovit in viticulture in 2007 showed positive effects on plant health and a reduced susceptibility to
disease. Depending on the vineyard concerned and the facilities available for analysis, the harvest produced a
larger mass of grapes through larger individual berries, or a higher sugar content of the must.

Recommendations for use

0.5% suspension with 1.5 kg per ha and application, at least 3 applications:

  • at the beginning of fl owering (BBCH* 61),
  • as the fruit begins to develop (after BBCH* 71),
  • when berries begin to touch (BBCH* 77).

* The BBCH scale is a scale used to identify the phenological growth stages of a plant: see the website of the Federal Biological Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry (www.bba.de/veroeff/bbch/bbcheng.pdf)
